Auras and their relationship to colours are such fascinating topics and happen to be one of my most favourite subjects to teach on and use in my readings. While I do offer a whole class on this, I will try to condense down some of the basics into this post.
For starters, auras are subtle energy fields that surround living beings, including humans, animals, and plants. It is said that auras can be seen by those who possess a heightened sense of intuition, but for most people, learning how to see someone’s aura requires some training and practice.
What are aura colours?
Aura colours represent a person’s emotional, spiritual, and physical state at a given moment in time. There are many different aura colours, each with its own unique meaning. Some of the most common colours and some of their representations are:
- Red: confidence, passion and energy. It can also indicate anger or aggression.
- Orange: creativity, enthusiasm, sociability, and health.
- Yellow: intellect, optimism, and happiness.
- Green: balance, harmony, and growth. It can also indicate healing or nature.
- Blue: calmness, clarity, and communication. It can also indicate spirituality or intuition.
- Purple: spirituality, intuition, and insight. It can also indicate creativity or artistic talent.
- Pink: love, clarity, and nurturing. It can also indicate romance or femininity.
- White: purity, clarity, and spiritual enlightenment. It can also indicate new beginnings or transformation.
- Grey: negativity, depression, and the absence of light.
- Black: depression and foundation changes. It can also mean emotional and spiritual growth.
How to see someone’s aura
Seeing someone’s aura requires an immense amount of practice and patience. However, there are some techniques to help you develop your aura reading abilities:
- Relax: It’s essential to be relaxed and focused when attempting to see someone’s aura. Take a few deep breaths and clear your mind before beginning.
- Soften your gaze: Instead of looking directly at the person, soften your gaze and focus on the area around them.
- Look for the aura: The aura is usually seen as a subtle, glowing light surrounding the person’s body. It can appear as a misty or hazy glow, or as distinct bands of color.
- Use your peripheral vision: To see the aura, it’s best to use your peripheral vision rather than your central vision. This means looking slightly to the side of the person rather than directly at them.
- Practice: Like any skill, aura reading requires practice. Try practicing with a friend or family member, or attend a workshop or class to learn more about aura reading.
Not everyone can see auras
It’s important to note that not everyone can see auras, and some people may see them more clearly than others. It’s also possible to sense auras through other senses, such as feeling a tingling sensation (clairsentience) or experiencing a particular smell or taste (clairgustance).
For myself, there are times I will see colours and other times I use my Clairsentience to guide me in the reading. Both are correct and highly accurate when conducting reading. I will often tell the client the colours they are emulating and what the colours mean, both spiritually and emotionally.
In conclusion, auras are an intriguing and mystical concept that have been around for centuries. Learning about aura colours and how to see them is a fascinating and rewarding experience, and is a skill I regularly employ during my intuitive readings. With practice and patience, you too can learn to see the subtle energy field that surrounds all living beings.
