The Sacral Chakra is located just below the belly button. Its associated element is water, and its colour is orange. The Sacral Chakra represents pleasure, sexuality, and creativity. It’s responsible for our wellness, abundance, pleasure and joy. It houses our creative and artistic energy as well as our sexual energy.
Sometimes we may meet a really artistic creative person and notice that they are so confident in their sexuality and have this amazing flow to them. They often see things so much brighter and have this joyful energy.
If you’re not feeling joyful or creative, then that tells us your Sacral Chakra is off. Your orange colour is dulled. When dulled, this chakra creates an imbalance in us and it can also create depression, so be mindful of that.
How to activate your sacral chakra
To enhance the Sacral Chakra and this orange colour, you must find creative ways of being. Sometimes we don’t even realize how creative we can be. It doesn’t matter what your type of creativity is, it can be anything so long as you find your creative joy and the time to do it. Remember though, creativity does not necessarily mean artistic, so don’t feel you have to be making some sort of art in order to be creative.
It’s really about finding our own sense of creativity and expressing it to help our Sacral Chakra become heightened.
