Have you ever considered becoming a medium? Are you interested in the Spirit World? Have you had situations where you felt that you were able to communicate with spirits?
There are many people who have had occurrences with the Spirit World but do not explore or expand on their occurrences and abilities. For some, it simply is not the right time in their life. For myself, I actually was never interested in mediumship for most of my life, and I was not aware of any spiritual beings.
What is it like, becoming a medium?
When considering mediumship, it’s important to look at your reasons for doing so and where the desire comes from. What drew me to mediumship is the grief I felt for my brother who passed away in 1990. This incident has always left a whole in my heart. Loss can happen deep within the soul. The spirit changes and you continue down that road, wondering what could have been had that person lived. Many people can relate to this, unfortunately.
After my brother’s passing, I did not immediately find mediumship. I was a busy person and had no connection to the Spirit World at all. Sometimes in life you put your grief away in a box in the corner, and you do not want to deal with it. Life gets busy. Sometimes putting the grief away is all we can do to survive and close the heart from more pain.
It wasn’t until twenty three years after my brother died that I began to question life after death. I started to investigate and found a book that really opened my eyes to mediumship. Never thinking I could truly become a medium, I simply read to provide some sort of healing for the loss I was still feeling.
Over time, I sought help for the grief and dealt with the loss, and was able to open my heart again. I continued to read books on mediumship that fascinated me. I started to work on my own intuitive skills. I read lots, watched YouTube, and joined practice circles. Before long, the mediumship abilities started to flourish.
Some people are drawn to spiritual mediumship because of trauma and loss; others are drawn to it by the soul’s need for healing, or a desire to learn mediumship development. It is through the soul’s guidance and desire to seek more understanding that the pull towards becoming a medium is quite strong, and this is exactly what happened to me.
After my soul calling and discovering my fascination with the Spirit World, I became immersed in the understanding of the spirit. Studying and finding like minded people is quite rewarding and uplifting because there is so much to glean from the experiences of becoming a medium.
I would say the biggest reward is the ability to heal the pain, sorrow, and heart from grief to uplift. You can gain a heightened awareness of the Spirit World and the ability to touch others through mediumship abilities. It is the most rewarding gift that could be given to me, one where I’m able to touch another person’s heart and soul.
So, if you’ve ever considered becoming a medium, you should explore it as a possibility! Think about why you are asking yourself that question, and read up on some of the material to see if you feel called to it. If you have any questions about getting started as a medium, please let me know.
