During a reading, the reader will either receive psychic information or mediumistic information. There is a vast difference between an Intuitive/Psychic reading and a Mediumship reading, so there is a difference in the type of information that comes through.

Intuitive Readings & Psychic Information
An intuitive person is often referred to as a psychic, and they are able to read your soul. The type of psychic information they may provide could include past, present and future information about yourself.
What is very important to recognize is that past and present psychic information should be provided with accuracy so that the future information is more trusted. If a psychic is unable to read your past, that they may not be able to read your future either.
When an intuitive person reads you, there is nothing about the spirit world involved. A psychic reading focuses on what is happening with you specifically, and where you are at now.
How does the psychic do this? Well, we all have energy from the soul, and this energy can be read either through the colours that surround you, i.e your aura, or also through the clairsentient feelings the psychic receives. They are able to provide a lot of details from your life, and able to assist you with moving forward. We all have this information within our soul. We all have our life history and our life path within us, and this is what the intuitive psychic accesses when reading you.
Intuitive readings are often a very healing process when we see an intuitive psychic to help us along on our path. There are times in our lives where we need the perspective of an intuitive reader to help. I know I did for a few years and helped immensely! Today, I look forward to reading people and helping them.
Mediumship Readings & Mediumistic Information
Mediumship readings are very different in the way the medium provides information. A medium is able to blend with family and friends who have passed over, and can relay information from them.
Often in a mediumship reading, the spirit family will also be able to send pictures to the medium’s minds and feelings of the past, present and sometimes the future. However, their main objective is to support the client and to send loving messages.
A medium also wants the client to know that their loved ones are there with them and share great memories of their life. Therefore in a mediumistic reading, it is important to know that it’s the family and friends who are communicating, and the information flows through the medium but does not come from the medium.
It’s important to note that while an intuitive psychic reader may not always be a medium, a medium is both always a psychic for the client and a medium for the spirit world. That is to say, you cannot be a medium without also first having psychic abilities.
So how do you know which type of information is coming through?
Simply put, it’s the reader’s connection to you for your life purpose that delivers the psychic information during an intuitive reading. It’s all about you! And for a mediumship reading, it’s more so information about the deceased spirit’s earthly life; the reader’s connection to spirit is what delivers the mediumship information.
Both types of readings are very healing and supportive, and for myself, I like to do a blended reading where I read both the sitter (psychically) and the spirit world (mediumistically). In both cases, it’s the upliftment of your soul and the soul that has passed that wants the best for you.
