A Journey of Spirit, Healing, and Purpose: My Life as a Medium

There are moments in life that quietly shape who we become, and then there are moments that change everything.

My journey into mediumship was not something I planned. It was something that found me, gently at first…and then undeniably.

I was born and raised in the Northwest Territories of Canada, deeply rooted in my Métis heritage. The North gave me strength, resilience, and a deep respect for connection: connection to family, to land, and to something greater than ourselves. Today, while I live in beautiful Victoria, BC, I carry those roots with me in everything I do.

But my true path began through loss.

How loss led to the beginning of my journey

At the age of twenty-one, I lost my brother Kelly suddenly and tragically. He was more than a brother—he was my confidant, my protector, my greatest supporter. His passing left a silence in my life that words could not fill. At that time, I did not believe in life after death. I believed he was simply…gone.

And that belief brought a deep sense of emptiness.

Years later, during a work trip, something unexpected happened. I found myself in a small airport bookstore in Edmonton, and a book on spirituality seemed to call out to me. It was one of those quiet, defining moments, one that didn’t make sense at the time but would later mean everything.

That book opened a door.

A door to understanding that life continues.
A door to realizing that love does not end.
A door to reconnecting not just with Spirit, but with myself.

From that moment forward, I began to study. I immersed myself in spiritual development, eventually training at a Spiritualist church in Victoria. But it was in 2014, during a powerful and evidential reading with my mentor, that everything truly shifted. In that moment, I experienced firsthand the reality of the Spirit World, and I knew, without doubt, that our loved ones are never truly gone.

That experience changed the direction of my life.

Studying mediumship across the world

I went on to study extensively across Canada, the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, including time at Arthur Findlay College. I was incredibly fortunate to train under the guidance of Mavis Pittilla, whose words still live in my heart today: “Love, like life, can never die.”

Those words are not just a belief, they are something I have witnessed, felt, and experienced over and over again in my work.

Today, I know my brother Kelly walks beside me in Spirit. His presence continues to guide and inspire me. And through him, I came to understand something deeply important:

Mediumship is not just about communication. It is about healing.

In my work as a medium and intuitive, I serve as a bridge between two worlds. Whether someone comes seeking connection with a loved one in Spirit or guidance through a psychic reading, my role is always the same to bring through evidence, clarity, and, most importantly, love.

I have seen how a single message can bring peace to a grieving heart.
How a piece of evidence can shift doubt into knowing.
How a moment of connection can remind someone they are not alone.

This work is sacred to me.

It is also deeply human.

Beyond readings and demonstrations, I am passionate about teaching. I believe that we all have the ability to connect—whether that connection is intuitive, emotional, or spiritual. Supporting others as they develop their own awareness, trust their sensitivity, and open to Spirit is one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

Every day, I continue to learn. I continue to grow. And I continue to be in awe of the Spirit World and the love it holds for us.

If there is one truth I carry through everything I do, it is this:

Love is eternal. Connection is real. And those we have loved never truly leave us.

My journey is one of service, devotion, and deep gratitude, and I feel honoured to walk this path alongside those who are called to it, whether through a reading, a class, or a shared moment of understanding.

Because in the end…
it is love that connects us all.
